Full Disclosure: At this time, I don't own any stocks. I don't have a broker. I am just following stocks that I think may do well.
I am new to stocks. I have followed some for years, and gained knowledge over some years. I have just never used any of that with real money. I did the Yahoo stock game, and lost my virtual shirt, because I went for the BIG NAME stocks that were already at the top. My thinking at the time is I wanted to (virtually) own a piece of the big guys. Microsoft, Netscape, Sun, Intel, Micron(memory), and so on. I picked based on name, not on actual performance. Wrong way to do it.
My current interests are certain small-cap stocks, just watching some of the bigger guys and day trading.
