Rusty's Discovery of the Whenever!
May 25, 1999 MegaCar.Com - I'm not a car guy. I don't care for BMW or Mercedes. But when you make a car as COOL at this car, I pay attention! The site is also an excellent example of what can be done on the net! What else are you gonna do with that $300,000 burning a hole in your pocket? I wanna take a Geo Metro, put the $90,000 computer system from the MegaCar in it, and increase the worth of the Metro to $90,050!!!!
Mar 3, 1999 I'M BACK! Part II Geez, is this lame or what? Ok, I'll try and do better in the future. Really! MP3Meta.Com is an MP3 Metasearch engine. I tried a few songs that I had not heard in while (both Faith No More: "We Care A Lot" and "Epic") and both returned numerous sites. I was able to get the songs from them. I had to pick the 2nd site for Epic, since the 1st choice was a cablemodem that seems to have been offline at the time. This will be a handy tool! Another site that searches MP3's is MP3 Search at Lycos. I believe that MP3Meta.Com searches this site also, so save time and use the meta engine!
Feb 10, 1998 I'M BACK! Well, sorta. I found another new link that I just HAD to share with everyone. Useless Information Home Page is anything BUT useless! I love this stuff! Ok, maybe I'M useless. Probably. But read all about kitty litter, Hedy Lamarr and Vaseline. No, not one item about all three, over 60 stories about the previously mentioned things and more. A LONG must read for everyone!
Dec 9, 1997 For the aspiring or professional webmaster who doesn't want to reinvent the wheel, check out The Ultimate Script List. Links to all sorts of neat stuff. Also check out alt.mcafee. A weird little site from those crazy guys at McAfee, the Virus Fighters. Aimed at the GenX folks. Interesting.
and for a long time... nothing happenedMay 27, 1997 Read an honest review of Microsoft's ActiveX on the web. Web Review takes a look at MS's latest advertising campaign and you get to see why *I* hate misleading advertising...
May 21, 1997 Ok, you use search engines searching for a variety of things. Gee, wouldn't it be nice to know what others are looking for? Well, if you are bored, or a web-voyuer, check out WebCrawler's SearchTicker and see what everyone else is looking for! Some searches may be offensive to people with closed minds! WOW! Another one! For a glance at your keyboards grandparents, check out The Classic Typewriter Page. Interesting site, even has a Typewriter of the Month page!
May 10, 1997 The Anti-Telemarketer Source is a site that makes my heart go pitter-patter!! Imagine finding a kindred spirit such as this! If you hate those calls as much as I do, check this site out and proclaim: DEMONS! BE GONE!!!
May 2, 1997 Watch Frogs Die is a part of CrashSite and is a great example of graphics on the Web. You must have ShockWave already installed. NOTE!: I don't hate frogs, I don't really care that much for them either though...
April 4, 1997 Men's Health Online is the electronic version of Men's Health Magazine. Very Nicely done and lots of great info!
April 1, 1997 HigherSource.Org is a funny place! Yes, it is parody of a bad event, but it is also trying to bring to light the stupid way the press associated the Cult with the Web. Check it out and decide for yourself.
Mar 20, 1997 ping.interactive is neat little online magazine dealing with computers and the Internet. Very nice! Monthly too!
Dec 25, 1996 On Dec 23, 1996 Netscape released the prerelease of their Navigator 4.0 browser and their suite combo, called Netscape Communicator and it looks NICE! Only one problem: When I tried to uninstall to go back to v3.01 (becase applications I run at work can't seem to fit in memory with v4.0) I noticed THERE IS NO UNINSTALL, THERE IS NO ENTRY IN THE WINDOWS95 ADD/REMOVE PROGRAM, AND THERE IS NO UNISTALL PROGRAM AT ALL! Wanna play with the latest, go ahead, but just be warned: they won't answer questions about it at all, and you will not be able to remove it! Such is life... Dec 2 - 24, 1996 Ok, so I'm a little bit slow. Well, not really, but BUSY! I've started a little company called Digital Pages. My idea is to help small businesses get on the Net inexpensively. It has taken ALL my extra time, much to the dismay of Penny! But I am already working with one client and may have another lined up after the beginning of the year! Digital Pages Dec 1, 1996 This site offers all sorts of cool info on health, fitness and the like. I found this one long ago and tend to go back often. You should too! UPDATED 03.02.99-Balance: Fitness on the Net Nov 30, 1996 I like stuff. Lots of stuff. Ask my wife. Stuff is one of the first words I taught her to pronounce correctly. Like an Italian from Brooklyn would say it: "Stoof" or something like that. These guys know stuff also. Addicted to: Stuff
Nov 29, 1996 When I saw this site, I KNEW I had to build a unix machine out of the old 386-40 I had laying around. After popping 8 megs and a 170 meg HD into an old case, I installed Lunix(minilinux) and away I went. Now if I can just get TCP/IP working with my Win95 network!
